Phase I — Unarmed Security Guard - 20 Hours

CLEET-required foundational training for individuals entering the private security profession. Phase I is the first component of the Unarmed Security Guard license.

Phase IV — Armed Security Guard - 32 Hours

CLEET-required firearms training for individuals seeking Armed Security Guard licensure. Completion of Phase I, Phase II, and Phase IV is required for an Armed Security Guard license.

  • Marksmanship and qualification standards
  • Legal considerations for armed personnel

LONG RIFLE Q – $225

The Long Rifle Qualification (Long Rifle Q) course is a CLEET-approved, standards-based rifle program designed to ensure

students demonstrate safe handling, operational proficiency, and qualification-level accuracy with a patrol-style rifle.

This course includes classroom instruction, safety protocols, equipment requirements, live-fire drills, and the official

CLEET rifle qualification course of fire. Students must arrive with a functional rifle, sling, three magazines, brass-cased

FMJ ammunition, and required safety gear. Successful completion satisfies CLEET’s rifle qualification requirement.

Note: Rifle and Shotgun qualifications are optional CLEET-recognized certifications and are not required to obtain an Oklahoma Armed Security Guard license.

SHOTGUN QUALIFICATION COURSE –

$185 Per Officer

The Shotgun Qualification Course provides armed officers with the skills and validation required to safely deploy a duty shotgun under CLEET-aligned standards. Students will complete safety instruction, loading/unloading, patterning, recoil management, positional shooting, malfunction clearing, and a formal
qualification.

Students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate shotgun safety and range discipline
  • Load, unload, and operate a duty shotgun safely
  • Apply recoil management and patterning fundamentals
  • Engage targets at multiple distances using buckshot and slugs
  • Clear malfunctions efficiently
  • Complete the qualification course of fire with a passing score

Standalone Annual Compliance Course for CLEET Licensed Armed Security Officers
